On May 26, 2018, the LIFE FORTURE project team participated in the final seminar of the Strategic Environmental Management Master, organised by the Environmental Quality Study Centre of the University of Padua.
The seminar was dedicated to the LIFE Programme as one of the European Union’s main financial instruments for supporting environmental and climate-related projects. It offered students the opportunity to understand how European funding can support applied innovation, environmental management and sustainable development.
The Master programme covers several key topics in environmental management, including climate change, Life Cycle Management, Carbon Footprint, Water Footprint, environmental auditing and energy management.
Within this context, the LIFE FORTURE team introduced the students to the project’s objectives, development phases and expected results, explaining how the project aims to apply life cycle-based sustainability assessment tools to the ceramic manufacturing sector.
The seminar represented an important dissemination activity towards future environmental professionals, connecting the project’s industrial case study with broader themes of sustainability, circular economy and environmental performance measurement.
The seminar was attended by Davide Settembre Blundo and Alessio Lelli.
The seminar slides are available in the Deliverables section of this website.
