LIFE FORTURE at CBIM 2018: sustainable business models for ceramic tile manufacturers
June 18–20, 2018
June 18–20, 2018
From June 18 to 20, 2018, the LIFE FORTURE project team participated in the CBIM 2018 International Conference, organised by Georgia State University and hosted at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain.
The conference brought together academics, professionals and doctoral students from around the world to discuss current and future topics in B2B marketing, sales, industrial markets and business development.
Within this international context, Sonia Medina Salgado, from the LIFE FORTURE project team, presented the speech “Method for designing sustainable business models for ceramic tiles manufacturers based on life cycle approach”.
The presentation introduced one of the strategic dimensions of the project: the need to integrate sustainability into business model design. Starting from a life cycle perspective, the contribution explored how ceramic tile manufacturers can connect environmental, economic and social assessment tools with managerial decisions and value creation.
The participation at CBIM 2018 helped position LIFE FORTURE within the broader debate on business innovation, sustainability and industrial competitiveness, showing how life cycle-based methods can support new approaches to sustainable B2B value propositions.
The conference was attended by Fernando E. García Muiña, Sonia Medina Salgado, Rocío González Sánchez, Eva Pelechano Barahona and Thais González Torres.
The conference slides are available in the Deliverables section of this website.
