On February 11, the LIFE FORTURE project team met with representatives of ACIMAC, the Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery and Equipment for Ceramics, at Villa Marchetti in Modena.
During the meeting, the team presented the objectives of LIFE FORTURE and the results achieved so far, with particular attention to the possible technological transfer of the project’s outcomes to companies associated with ACIMAC.
The discussion focused on how the dynamic sustainability assessment model developed within the project could create value not only for ceramic tile manufacturers, but also for technology providers and machinery companies working across the ceramic supply chain.
The meeting also addressed dissemination activities. In particular, the participants planned the preparation of articles to be published in Ceramic World Review, the magazine published by ACIMAC, in order to share the project’s results with a wider industrial audience.
ACIMAC is one of the key stakeholders of LIFE FORTURE, and this meeting was part of the activities included in the project’s Stakeholder Engagement Plan. The exchange represented an important step in strengthening the connection between the project consortium, industry associations and companies involved in ceramic technologies.
The meeting was attended by Anna Maria Ferrari, Cristina Siligardi, Davide Settembre Blundo, Lucrezia Volpi, Stefano Lugli from ACIMAC Technical Office and Paola Giacomini from ACIMAC Press Office.
