LIFE FORTURE at Confindustria Ceramica for the conference on circular economy

On May 9, the LIFE FORTURE team participated in a conference on circular economy held at the headquarters of Confindustria Ceramica.

The event, organised by the Italian Ceramic Tile Society, was entitled “Circular economy: a revolution, a challenge, a business for the ceramic sector”. It brought together ceramic companies, institutions and research centres to discuss projects, experiences and strategies connected to circular economy in the ceramic industry.

The conference was a continuation of a previous event held at the Tecnargilla fair in Rimini and offered a valuable opportunity to share practical approaches to circularity, resource efficiency and sustainable industrial innovation.

During the event, Davide Settembre Blundo, from the LIFE FORTURE project team, presented the speech “Corporate Social Responsibility: how to integrate sustainability principles into business models”. The contribution explained how sustainability can be embedded into company strategy, moving from environmental responsibility to a broader model that also includes economic and social dimensions.

The participation of LIFE FORTURE highlighted the project’s role in supporting the ceramic sector’s transition towards circular business models and more advanced sustainability assessment tools.

The conference was attended by Eva Magdalena Gualtieri.
