The first technical coordination meeting between Gresmalt and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia was held on October 30, 2017, at Gresmalt headquarters.
The meeting marked one of the first operational steps of the LIFE FORTURE project and focused on the planning of two key technical actions: Action B1, dedicated to the design of a dynamic LCA, LCC and S-LCA tool, and Action B3, focused on the design of materials and processes for sustainable ceramic tiles.
These two actions are central to the project’s overall ambition. On one side, LIFE FORTURE aims to develop a dynamic assessment model capable of integrating environmental, economic and social sustainability indicators. On the other, it seeks to apply this approach to the design of more sustainable ceramic products and production processes.
The meeting helped align the industrial expertise of Gresmalt with the scientific and technical competences of UNIMORE, setting the basis for the development of the project’s assessment tools and eco-design activities.
The meeting was attended by Davide Settembre Blundo, Anna Maria Ferrari, Cristina Siligardi and Filippo Bolzi.
