The LIFE FORTURE project team published an article in Ceramic World Review, one of the most widely distributed international magazines dedicated to the ceramic sector.
The article, entitled “Sustainability as a source of competitive advantage for the ceramic industry”, explores the concepts of sustainability and sustainable development and explains why these topics are becoming increasingly strategic for ceramic companies.
A central part of the article is dedicated to Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment, or LCSA, presented as a framework for evaluating the sustainability performance of products and processes by integrating environmental, economic and social dimensions.
The second part of the contribution focuses specifically on the LIFE FORTURE project, describing its objectives and its ambition to develop a dynamic model for sustainability assessment in ceramic manufacturing. The article also presents the expected results of the project and directs readers to the official LIFE FORTURE website for further information.
The publication represented an important dissemination activity, helping the project reach a qualified industrial audience and reinforcing the message that sustainability can become a concrete lever of competitiveness for the ceramic sector.
The article is available in the Deliverables section of this website.
