On September 27, the LIFE FORTURE project team held a working meeting at Gresmalt with the IT department and the accounting and management control office to start the data retrieval process for the dynamic LCA model.
This meeting represented an important operational step for the project. Each impact item was analysed individually, with the objective of identifying the most reliable source of data within the company’s information systems and defining how that data could be extracted and used in the dynamic assessment model.
The discussion allowed the team to connect the methodological requirements of Life Cycle Assessment with the practical structure of the company’s internal data flows. This is one of the key challenges of LIFE FORTURE: transforming sustainability indicators into a manageable tool that can work with real industrial data.
Following the meeting, the departments involved began planning an initial data extraction in coordination with the project management office. In the next working sessions, the team will compare the data collected, verify its consistency and evaluate how to complete the extraction of the remaining information.
The meeting was attended by Francesco Marinelli, Francesca Rivieccio, Monica Algeri, Daniele Manfredini and Marco Cucchi.
