On November 20, Gresmalt and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia met at Tecnopolo in Reggio Emilia for a working session dedicated to the future development of the LIFE FORTURE dynamic assessment model.
The meeting focused on the integration of the three pillars of sustainability — environmental, economic and social — with the company’s ERP system. This step is central to the project’s ambition: transforming sustainability assessment from a static analysis based on historical data into a dynamic model capable of working within a real manufacturing environment.
The discussion addressed how to make the model concrete, manageable and useful for industrial decision-making. The partners also jointly evaluated the most impactful process steps, with the aim of improving the accuracy of the data extraction process and strengthening the reliability of the indicators.
The meeting confirmed the importance of close collaboration between industrial and academic partners. By combining Gresmalt’s production knowledge with UNIMORE’s technical and methodological expertise, LIFE FORTURE continued to move towards a practical tool for monitoring sustainability performance in ceramic manufacturing.
The meeting was attended by Anna Maria Ferrari, Lucrezia Volpi, Alessandra Salvarani, Marco Cucchi and Davide Settembre Blundo.
