LIFE FORTURE and G3NIUS by Gresmalt have been recognized by CINEA, the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency, as a success story and benchmark for the ceramic sector.
This important recognition confirms the value of the work carried out by Gruppo Ceramiche Gresmalt through the LIFE FORTURE project: a concrete path towards a more sustainable ceramic industry, capable of combining environmental responsibility, technological innovation and long-term industrial value.
The LIFE FORTURE project integrated environmental, economic and social considerations into ceramic manufacturing, demonstrating the real feasibility of dynamic sustainability monitoring within an industrial context. One of the main outcomes of this approach is G3NIUS, an innovative technology developed by Gresmalt to produce ceramic surfaces in a more sustainable way.
At the heart of the project is DYCTA — Dynamic Sustainability Assessment — the internal assessment system developed to guide the Group’s research and development activities according to eco-design principles. DYCTA makes it possible to monitor process performance in real time, integrating sustainability indicators into the company’s ERP system and supporting more efficient, measurable and responsible production decisions.
Through LIFE FORTURE, Gresmalt has shown that sustainability can become part of the company’s operating model, not only as a reporting objective, but as a practical tool for design, production and innovation. The project connects aesthetics, functionality, responsible use of natural resources and Industry 4.0 technologies, with the aim of guaranteeing products that are increasingly sustainable and aligned with the needs of the market.
For Gruppo Ceramiche Gresmalt, this recognition represents another confirmation of a long-standing commitment to sustainability and innovation. It also reinforces the Group’s role as a leader in defining a business model where the responsible use of natural, social, economic and technological resources is both a duty and an opportunity.
