On February 22, 2018, the LIFE FORTURE project team participated in the conference “Raw materials for ceramic tiles”, organised by the Italian Ceramic Society at the headquarters of Confindustria Ceramica in Sassuolo, Italy.
During the event, the team presented the aims of the LIFE FORTURE project, introducing its ambition to develop a dynamic sustainability assessment model for ceramic manufacturing.
The conference provided an early opportunity to share the project with a technical audience closely connected to ceramic materials, production processes and industrial innovation. Presenting LIFE FORTURE in this context was particularly relevant, as raw materials are one of the key factors influencing both the environmental performance and the industrial feasibility of ceramic products.
The participation also helped position the project within the ceramic district, opening a dialogue with researchers, companies and professionals interested in more sustainable approaches to tile production.
The meeting was attended by Anna Maria Ferrari, Davide Settembre Blundo and Cristina Siligardi.
The seminar slides are available in the Deliverables section of this website.
